Southern Belle I see the barefoot lonely Cause they come for me It’s just a dreaming band Of the left’ver scene Taking one too many reasons Why I can’t believe Can you go? I see… Can you feed? I believe As some remain What belongs to the Terror I feel Can you tell what I believe? No. It’s a pull up heart won scene New Orleans and dare my dream Can you show my heart it’s over Like a dream in beds of clover I just don’t know For what it is I believe

Burnt Toast 03:01
Burnt Toast Ive seen you love you before Come on and tell him now Cause theres a reason why You don’t go home, all alone It’s not your fault You just need a minute Man come, adore You see them, if you don’t Want them back for more Used it all before I can’t leave you lone I am the one at home I am the reason why you Won’t go home, all alone I wish you said goodnight You’re armed and hold me tight I am the reason why Feeling like, all in love now Now I’m a dreaming like you See me like before But I’m a dreaming like you’re Someone and I need you more And I’m in lovin like its Jamming like before baby I am the one who’s hoping tight Full moon light Can you just feel me? Like you’re the candle light And you need it more I just I just decide I just don’t wanna be here And I’m just going home Damn the door Out the floor Don’t answer the phone Leave it all alone Our friends watch as it unfolds You are just feeling low Hobo said Cmon Kill him! Is this life? Coming back for me… You just don’t know How I’m here before Go, walking out the door Watch me go home.

The Crystal Cage I can do all the normal things That normal people do Each day I see the things The people see them too But theres a difference To the way I live my age All the people they can see me In my lonely Crystal Cage I can do all the normal things That normal people do Each day I see the things Can you see them too? I move amongst the people I hear their little, little lies I move amongst them I hear their lies I never see the reasons As they turn away their eyes The people they can Hear me as they see No matter how much I wanted it No one can set me free The people Oh see the people I can hear the people I live my life In my gilded Crystal Cage We can talk for hours But never will we play I live my lonely days In a padded Crystal Cell If I ever do I leave here You’ll be the first one that I tell

about

Sound Coma is the debut solo release from Melbourne singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sean J Casquedero. For Sean this is a deeply personal expression that is a product of the separation from society of recent times and the will to express to the world, in some capacity, what it is that makes him tick. Aside from the photography featured within this release, which was incidentally the work of his daughter Nikota, Sound Coma truly is a solo affair that delves deep into his psyche and seeks to share the contents with the world.

On this 5 track EP, Sean explores some of his most beloved subject matter. Existential wonder, the nature life and existence, sex, death and Eastern philosophy are but a few of the topics explored on Sound Coma.

Recorded and mixed at his home, Sean makes the most of the instruments and equipment at his disposal. In the months preceding the ‘event’ of early 2020, Sean was initially exploring options to record live drums in a conventional recording environment, but as life would have it, this would not be the case. As a result, Sean continued to write more material, ponder his fate and decided to explore other options.

As a result, for the first time, Sean has worked with digital percussion that he tailored to his needs. Historically Sean has worked solely with live drums and is a huge fan of the medium, but also has an interest in the tension and, interestingly, the freedom, that digital drums affords. Sean was initially attracted to the use of programmed drums by the work of Sisters of Mercy, Nine Inch Nails and in later years, the early work of The Kills. It was the work of The Kills that really drew his attention to the tension and anticipation that can be found when combining live electric guitar with programmed drums. The unrelenting steady nature of the beat, and the impossibility of that beat to waiver, even the slightest, regardless of the energy and delivery of the rest of the composition, was fascinating...and alluring.

So sit back and enjoy the journey that is Sound Coma.
